For what its worth, I have been doing JT65 & JT9 for many many years and worked many of thousands of stns and every one of my logged entries is a two figure report.Īnd also, if you have not got this add-on you might find it worthwhile. source: specifications JT65A/JT65/JT65-HF mode is normally used on HF, MF, LF and 6 meter bands. The system allows approximately +/-600Hz auto-tuning on receive. The lowest tone of the JT65 signal is normally 1270Hz. JT65A signal bandwidth extends about 200Hz above 1270.5Hz sync.
But I guess, the FT-736R was never developed for something like JT65. Sync tone is the reference mouse-click frequency for JT65. A test will show with Holger in the next few days. (See Log), though, I wonder if the old FT-736R will be stable enough to hande JT65. It is working perfect with the Yaesu FTDX-1200. They can be used with WSJT-X, Ham Radio Deluxe, FlDigi and many other CAT control and Digimode applications. They are perfect for operating PSK31, FT8, JT9, JT65, Echolink and any other AFSK mode. This group is about having fun with those applications. Digital modes with applications like WSJT and JS8CALL are fun. The most popular versions among the program users are 18.1 and 17.4. We specialize in selling great value and high quality CAT control and Digital Mode interfaces for Icom, Yaesu, Kenwood and Wouxon Ham Radio Equipment. JT65 - JT9 - FT8 - Digital Modes Group has 2,953 members. The program lies within System Utilities, more precisely Device Assistants.
This free program was originally developed by Igor Chernikov, UA3DJY.
I think I did change them somewhere in the program, but cannot say for sure that this is so. Thanks to Holger Hammerschlag, DF1QR, I am now QRV using JT65 and JT9 on all Bands i use. Our website provides a free download of JTDX - JT9 and JT65 Modes for LF MF and HF Amateur Radio. It is possible that I changed them myself a long time ago. On my Log4om the pull down menus are -01 thru to -30.
I believe that you have been in hospital, hope all ok Terry.
Would it be possible for the next update or the future release of Log4OM to have the correct signal reports in the pull down menu? It is optimized for VHF, uses about 300 Hz of bandwidth, and sounds somewhat musical if listening to it. Basically, JT65 is intended to do EME messages, sending a message to bounce off of the moon. Its submode JT9A is 2 dB more sensitive than JT65 while using less than 10 of the bandwidth. The difference between JT9/JT65 is also of some worth. JT9 was originally designed for the LF, MF, and lower HF bands. We imagine that over time it may replace JT65 for EME use. Reports for these modes are two digit as it -01, -02, -03 ect. QRA64 has a number of advantages over JT65, including better performance on the very weakest signals.
